New Nursing Program KatHO NRW

Mon, 17 May 2010

The Catholic college nursing school KatHO NRW has received permission to start a new dual Bachelors study program in care from the North-Rhine Westphalian ministry. The object of the program is to improve bedside nursing and a special program has been developed for this purpose.

The dual program, which includes on-ward experience and theory, will meet the new demands being made upon the profession. It will start at 16 schools of nursing throughout North-Rhine Westphalia. The first of the three programs started this autumn and 70 students will be able to take the course each year. The seminars are held at the college’s headquarters in Aachen, Cologne, Münster and Paderborn.
