Two scholarships available: PhD at IDS-FunMat

IDS-FunMat is an International Doctoral Programme in Functional Materials funded by the ERASMUS MUNDUS Programme of the European Union.

Two scholarships are available in the Center for Education and Research on
Macromolecules of the University of Liège (Belgium) in collaboration with
the University of Bordeaux (France). The topics are:

1. Design and development of new polyamides by ring-opening
polymerization for high performance composites materials.
Supervisors: Dr. Philippe Lecomte (University of Liège), Dr. Stéphane
Carlotti (University of Bordeaux) ; Industrial Partner: BASF (Dr. Philippe
Desbois)

2. Preparation of drug-loaded scaffolds for biomedical

Tassaing (University of Bordeaux); Industrial Partner: COVIDIEN (Benjamin
Renault)

The website is open for scholarship applications and the deadline is 10th February 2011. The projects will start around October 2011. Right now 22 new PhD project offers are proposed on the website.
