
From June 14 through 18 there will be a Biotechnologies trade mission to Italy. The program includes visits to Milan and Sienna, which have a high concentration of biotech companies.
The Italian biotechnology sector has grown spectacularly in recent years; it now has 260 companies employing 41,000 and last year produced revenues of EUR 5.4bn. During the trade mission various science parks and businesses will be visited and there is time for matchmaking talks. Participation costs EUR 500 per company, exclusive of travel, accommodation and interpreters.
The journey is organized by the Dutch EVD International agency in cooperation with the Dutch embassy in Rome and the Consulate General in Milan, Syntens and the Dutch Chamber of Commerce.
