Who ever thought of crossing the border for a job?
Why should you move far away out of the region if your chances are right in the epicentre of Life Sciences. Here in the Euregio! Did you ever thought of moving across the border to Germany, the Netherlands or Belgium? Why did you hesitate if you didn´t do so yet?

Maybe it's not so much about knowing the German language, nowadays most of the people can talk English anyways. I thinks it's more about the awareness of cultural differences, how to behave in specific situations, when to talk to people on a first-name basis or not and more of these rather small things, that could mean a great deal.
Think of doing business with a chinees person; generally speaking it's necessary to first build a kind of relationship before doing business. Without the knowledge of such issues, you could miss your deal. Might be that this is exactly what's also needed to work abroad: knowledge of the culture you are about to enter..
